Made from a custom fabric developed by the samuel zelig team. This process was very labor intensive in which every step was done by hand. The fabric was made from French Chore Jackets, Pants, Coveralls, and Overalls and Japanese Indigo Sashiko. These French Workwear garments date anywhere from the mid 1900's to late 1970's. They were deconstructed by hand into flat panels of fabric. The panels were then cut into patches and placed in bundles to be sewn. The patches were seamed together, sewn one yard at a time until completed. These Jackets were sewn with great attention to detail by a single sewer in Los Angeles.
