Description
Film plays a large role in our designs, but for this group we wanted to make it a prominent theme. The designs for this group are centered around our film club the ‘Silver Screen Society’. Each piece features embroideries of fictional movie posters, storyboard patches, and other illustrations to commemorate the shared experience of watching a film. The color scheme of these embroideries are kept tonal to give the effect of colorless film while still exhibiting shades other than black and white. One set of styles from the group features a tonal olive color scheme, while the other features a tonal mauve color scheme.
